Mirrors unto ourselves: part two
The path of oneness is a path  of healing, a path that above all helps us to tear the veil of separation.One is able to see  and feel the universe as one with the self.Can one be a teacher without a student? can one be a friend without another? can the past be if we do not conceive  the present or the future? Can we have a sunset if there was no sunrise? Can we understand daylight if we have no experience of night?

duality
Duality is not a way of life it is a plague of the present for all of us.However, there comes a time when  one goes beyond duality.Duality collapses as one becomes integrated with all that is  and realizes that one is in all there is,that the separation was a creation of the mind hence of the ego.When this happens, one can then understand such teachings as 'love your neighbor as you love yourself '.Do you ever wonder why Jesus does not say love your neighbor as they love you,or as you would want them to love you or as you love God.When we love another as we love ourselves there  starts the collapse of duality.Just to make sure we do not misunderstand  Him he goes ahead to define who a neighbor is in the story of the good Samaritan.He gives this parable;
"A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
Collapsing duality
There are  things that no matter how separate we may seem they remind us we are one.Loss of loved ones, Psychological pain,pride,poverty,wealth.The rich man identifies with his wealth just as the poor man identifies with his poverty.How would a social ladder exist if we were all rich or poor.These states are created by the collective ego.It is born in one mind and collectively the separation grows in bounds .Love your neighbor as you love yourself,do unto others as you would have them do unto you.This is not a religious teaching it is a universal and spiritual truth.see beyond the mirror start by dropping judgement of others.
